"The Pro Pilot 2000 team is dedicated to promoting interest in general aviation by creating a comprehensive simulation that allows users at any skill level to adjust the simulation to their specific needs," said Mark Pechnick, designer of the Pro Pilot series. Pro Pilot 2000 will include the general aviation edition and a professional edition, plus new sections and training for private student pilots, new aircraft and scenery (seven aircraft, 37 metropolitan areas, 4,300 airports, and 38 million elevation points of terrain), and video instruction. Dynamix, a longtime member of Sierra, is getting set to release Pro Pilot 2000 later this year and announced Wednesday that two different editions of the game will ship in the same box.
